Garey works for Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Southern California providing high quality home health care and Hospice services to people of all ages. Garey works primarily in hospice and brings a special presence to all in his care. He pays particular attention to the pain and comfort needs of patients with cancer. Garey exceeds expectations in his performance including symptom evaluation, personal patient care, and psycho-social evaluation & comfort.  He also shows his innate compassion as a volunteer chaplain for male inmates at a local prison. Again and again he has shown a willingness to accept and treat difficult and vulnerable patients, and he has demonstrated exceptional human capacity for empathetic care and healing presence.
