The Palliative Care Team at Hoag Hospital

The Palliative Care Team at Hoag Hospital is dedicated not only to providing excellent pain and symptom management to patients at the hospital, they have also brought palliative care to home based patients. Dr. Adam Kendall, a board-certified palliative physician, Janet Batt, a palliative care nurse specialist, and Chaplain Don Oliver provide the full range of pain and symptom management to home and hospital patients. Additionally, the team is dedicated to teaching nurses, social workers,
and pharmacists the fine points of pain management. For all you do to bring pain management to cancer patients and
teaching others to increase their pain management skills, we are happy to honor your team with the
