The Pain Resource Nurse Group at Hoag Hospital 

The Pain Resource Nurse Group at Hoag Hospital has grown out of the PRN educational program and Hoag’s dedication to mandatory house wide training in pain management for all nurses working at Hoag Hospital.  This group helps provide continuous education to new nurses hired at Hoag and they support change and improvement in communication and collegial relationships among the health care providers.  They have developed pain assessment documentation for nurses as well as a comprehensive pain policy.  Congratulations to all of you for your continued dedication to improving the quality of pain management your patients receive at Hoag Hospital.  We are privileged to recognize The Pain Resource Nurse Group at Hoag Hospital and the work you do.  Congratulations!
