As the Assistant Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Service for Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Steinberg is dedicated to providing comfort to his patients.  As a cancer survivor himself he knows firsthand the discomfort patients face and works to improve pain relief and quality of life for his patients. Dr. Steinberg supports pain education as well as survivorship care in the institution and is helping to develop the ASCO follow up guidelines for transplant recipients, which includes pain and symptom management strategies.  We are proud to provide Dr. Steinberg with the SCCPI Award of Excellence for his continued dedication to quality of life for cancer patients.
